Our unique ‘Curriculum Enrichment Education Portfolio’ provides a much needed teaching tool. Educational institutions, government organisations and families will have a cost-effective, powerful teaching and learning tool whose theme is derived from the saying of Isaac Newton, “If I saw further, it is because I stood on the shoulders of giants.”
Most taught subjects, especially Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) refer mainly to Western scientists and inventions. Our portfolio enables you to cherry-pick information, design class sheets, perform experiments and organise group projects that acknowledge the cultural roots of science and the contributions made by all cultures. Through this, we hope to improve communication, enhance inter-cultural respect and generate ways of working together to build a better future for all.
Our Educational Portfolio has been developed from authenticated research conducted by the FSTC and its subsidiaries, CE4tF and 1001 Inventions. Over the years, we have collaborated with a number of prominent educational organisations, including the Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency (formerly responsible for the English National Curriculum), The Association for Science Education, The Historical Association and The British Science Association. All content has been thoroughly vetted and endorsed.
Our Portfolio follows extensive research during which teachers, students and educational experts took part in workshops, surveys, focus groups and meetings. The research showed that both teachers and students have limited knowledge of the contributions made by non-western cultures in STEM and other subjects such as Biology, Geography, Economics and the Arts. Our portfolio is designed to optimise opportunities for individual learning, development of teaching practice and cross-curricular training.
